Site description: Disused quarry.
Geology: Cretaceous, Lower and Middle Chalk. The base of the Middle Chalk dips 55ยบ N and shows some group 3 shears (south dipping thrust faults).
Access: No restrictions, the site is just outside the Lulworth Ranges.
Parking: Ample room in public car park and picnic site on the hill top
(SY 905.817) and access to the site is via the bridleway to the east and then a short distance up the road.
