More Conservation

The group has carried out further conservation at Red Lane Abbotsbury (25 September) and also at King Barrow Quarry Portland (1 October) and Crack Lane Langton Matravers (11 October).

The two pictures are of the work being carried out at King Barrow Quarry where scrub was cleared but the grass area has to be left on the ‘fossil forest’ surface because of the rare lime rich environment.
