The March conservation session took place at Red Lane, Abbotsbury on the 24 March:
Despite the chilly weather the DIGS members cleared a lot of vegetation covering the rock faces and removed a large bag of rubbish.

On 23rd February a group of our members spent the morning carrying out conservation work on two of our sites, one at Bincombe, near Upwey north of Weymouth and secondly at a chalk pit at Kingston Maurward near Dorchester.
Despite the chilly February weather we set to and enjoyed some sunshine too. Both sites were somewhat overgrown but are now in good condition to demonstrate the geological interest.
