A rather dreary morning at Steeple Pit today but four members of the DIGS group spent three hours tidying up the site in Purbeck.
It has been rather neglected recently and was in need of some TLC. Plenty of dumped rubbish was also removed.
Seven members of DIGS spent the morning at Poxwell on Monday 3 September and achieved great results, as hopefully you can see from these pictures:
We had a successful session at the Southampton Fossil and Mineral Society event at Lyndhurst yesterday. Over 200 people came through the doors plus children and there were all the contributors too.
