Further information on the geology can be found on the DIGS sites pages. We hope to extend the accessible rock face on 10 June to a second face at right angles to the first helping with further geological interpretation.
On Thursday 26 February, despite grotty weather, some DIGS members visited our site at Evershot and carried out long overdue conservation on the rock face which was poorly exposed due to a cover of weathered debris (talus).
The Chalk / Upper Greensand boundary is now clearly exposed. We hope to carry out further work shortly to clean the rock face further.
